Bat-shit Crazy - A coveted title in Hollywood
I cannot stop following the train wreck known as Charlie Sheen. Seriously, this guy has gone bat-shit crazy. (And I was slightly distracted for a second when a man wearing a pink and green argyle sweater vest walked past my office . . . interesting choice this Monday morning dude). I digress. Back to Charlie Sheen - what a nut, right? He definitely tops the craziness of Lindsey Lohan and Britney Spears, although I find the antics to be similarly enthralling. What do you think?

It's a Wedding
So, some kids really seem to have strong opinions on things. My kids certainly do, but I don't think that any of my children are as opinionated as this strong little girl. And my daughter certainly doesn't agree with this opinion.
No, my sweet daughter is so ready to get married that she has already proclaimed that she is married . . . to our dog Walter.
And it's done until November

Were you wondering?
So, this is what I look like today.
And that's me smiling - sort of. Yeah, I'm whipped. You wouldn't want to face this down in court, would you? Yeah, I thought not. I'll be back when I'm rested.

Helpful Hint
Chuckyluv, please buy me this:
It's called the Happy Hour Necklace by Lia Sophia. As luck would have it, our dear friend Angie is hosting a Lia Sophia party, so you can make arrangements to buy it with her.
Love you mucho!

Brotherhood
Okay, Chuck and I watched an independent film last night called Brotherhood. It was filmed locally and it is amazing! Oh my goodness. I can't stop thinking about it. It is only 90 minutes long. It is about pledges to a fraternity having to do crazy hazing stuff and how one night goes wrong. It is action packed, edge of your seat, awesomeness and I don't even like these kinds of movies. It premiered at the Angelica in Dallas this weekend, it's playing in L.A. and New York too. It is fantastic and I hope you all get a chance to see it. Click here to learn more about it. It is definitely worth watching.

Contemplation
Now that the weekend is over and I've temporarily stopped the massive detour I took from my diet, I'm focused and ready to maybe even start some exercise. Of course, they say you should never do anything too extreme so maybe I'll just contemplate doing some exercise and then actually do the exercise in a few days.
Yes, I think that is definitely the right approach.

Last Minute Gift Idea
Looking for a last minute Valentine's Day gift, just like me?
Well, look no further. Give your special someone a box of condoms because today is not only Valentine's Day, but also National Condom Day and International Condom Day! You could even print out the history here and wrap it up with your gift.
You can all thank me nine months from now when you do not have to squeeze a watermelon-sized baby out of your hoohaa.
Enjoy!

Valentine's Day!!!
Happy Valentine's Day!
So, I'm more of a traditional Valentine's Day girl,

But, I'm not getting flowers or candy, and I was too lazy to do anything cute with my kids this weekend so here are some funnies for you instead.
Please forgive me.
Please forgive me.
Perfect card for all the Fat Olympics participants, or not.
A card from doctors perhaps?
Made me chuckle.
My favorite of all!
(I swear I must be a 13 year old boy.)

And here's something for all those out there who hate this holiday.
Hope you have a wonderful day!

TMI
You've been warned - this is TMI.
I have a sinus infection. It is so miserable - but obviously not as bad as the flu, so I'll count my blessings. Still, when I blow my nose in the morning and see the massive snot that lands in the tissue over and over again, I understand why my head hurts so damn much. *whimper*

Such is Life
Just another cute picture of George from the rodeo a couple weeks ago. I was working, but Chuck and the kids were able to go with our friend Emily and her daughter Maddie. They sent me this picture and my heart was sad to be missing it. Such is the life of a commercial litigation attorney.
(Just ignore the peanut butter on his cheeks)

George
I can't get over this face. It's just so adorable.
Luckily, his cranky two-year old attitude keeps my uterus in check.

Those Girls in Green
Seriously, I think someone should conduct an exposé on Girl Scout Cookies and find out what kind of addictive ingredients are in there that make us all CRAVE those wonderful, ridiculously fattening cookies. They're delicious and terrible all at once. I don't understand it.
All I know is that I cannot walk past a Girl Scout without buying a box. And my typical purchase would be a box of Thin Mints, or maybe the Peanut Butter Patties, oh, or maybe the Caramel deLites, or the Thanks-a-Lots (you can't see it but there is chocolate on the bottom). So I picked all the cookies with chocolate - can you blame me? Ahh, my mouth is watering just thinking of it.

Ice Week - Not Planned
It snowed last night . . . again. It snowed this morning . . . again. And the sun has finally arrived. Luke and I are getting bored with each other. Why is it just Luke and me? Where are the other two?
Well, Rosie went on a ski vacation in Colorado with one of her au pair buddies and the au pair's family, so we had to locate someone to help us out this week with the kids. Our dear friends Tim and Stephanie (who live in Sherman, Texas - two hours away) graciously caved to Chuck's begging and agreed to watch George and Evie this week. Who knew it was going to be such a crazy week. The plan had been that Luke would be in school all day long and then Chuck or I would pick him up at 3:00 each afternoon. So much for that. On Monday, Chuck picked Luke up and dragged the poor kid to his office. Snow hit Tuesday and Luke and I stayed home and watched TV. Wednesday, Luke and I went into the office basically all day. Thursday, I had planned to stay at home, but we ended up back at the office for about 5 hours. Then today my Leadership Fort Worth Class was canceled, Luke has no school, the city is closed, and the roads are only just now starting to melt.
Luke and I are missing Evie and George sooo much. It was novel at first to just have the three of us at the house, but now we're bored. Luke is tired of hanging out with us. He's tired of watching tv. He doesn't want to play in the snow. I guess we're just ready to have our family back.
With all that said, G and E have been having a fine time with Stephanie and her two pretties. They have been watching tv, gone shopping, playing games, went to Chuck E Cheese, and all kinds of fun stuff.
I'll have to update with some sweet pictures that Stephanie sent me this week (once Luke finishes playing StarWars on my phone). She's an angel.

Back to Work . . . Again.
Got in a fight with another attorney this morning when he called me at home on my cell phone. I was hoping to spend the day with Luke cleaning and hanging out, but after that phone conversation I hauled Luke and myself back to work. This sucks monkey butt. Luke is such a little trooper.

At Work
Made it to work with a sidekick today.
We're getting our homework done. And then he has a Boxcar Children book to read and his Nintendo DS. Wish me luck.
And yes, he got glasses. What do you think?
