I hate that she constantly looks like a ragamuffin, but I'm starting to accept our fate. Last week they had a visit from the local firemen. I wish I could have been there. I definitely admire those men! Evie, on the other hand, looked less than thrilled.

Although this picture looks like a ton of fun.

I thought one of the interesting questions was what they like for breakfast. Apparently, the firemen and this Daisy Troop share a common love for bacon. How funny is that?
Also, let me announce that in order to get her smock fully prepared for her Daisy meetings, I had to use the ironing board and the iron. As you know from this post and this post, it was quite a shock to the entire family. But, in my mind, if I have to use the iron, I'm going to have a glass of wine handy to keep me sane and patient.
