It's a new day in a changed world.

Today is my first day at home as the owner of my own law firm.  I'm deliriously happy and excited about this new chapter of my life.  I'm typing this from my home computer in the "computer room" that will soon be transformed into my law office.  My law degree and license are hanging on the wall.  I have pictures of my family surrounding me and a beautiful view of my neighborhood out of the multiple windows in my  new corner office.  I'm incredibly blessed.

On another note, I simply can't bring myself to post anything about Newton, CT.  There is nothing I can say that will bring peace to anyone in this world, and so I seek solace from those who have more wisdom about such things.  Suffice it to say that my prayers, my heart, and my tears are with those who continue to suffer and grieve.

I guess I'm just a bit of a sap but you know, reading this made me shed a few tears. I'm so very happy for you and so proud of you for taking such a big step. Good for you!

Also, yes, anytime I read anything about Newtown I cry...I don't just shed tears, I cry.
