It baffles me that anyone in today's society could possibly think that going to a Halloween party dressed up in blackface could ever be appropriate.

I must admit Mom put blackface on me when I was 7 or 8 when I dressed up as Aunt Jemima for Halloween. She used a cork. Since we did not know anything called racism, I thought I was just dressing up as my favorite syrup lady.
