Biggest Loser

I want to start or join a Biggest Loser contest. My friends are participating in a Biggest Loser contest through their church - but they live two hours away. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'd love to do it with some friends, but how do you approach your friends about joining a contest to lose weight? Seems like some friends may not take it very well and would probably be offended. Hmm.

Oh man, I wish I would've known you wanted to do something like this. Our family is just ending our 12-week stint of a BLC. If we do one again, I'll let you know!

I used to watch that show every week and then weigh myself the next morning. That was the year I worked REALLY hard and lost over 70lbs. Then, I got pregnant and it was all downhill from there.
I would LOVE to join something like that but..ummmm...would that require me to be accountable to someone? You know how much I HATE having to be held accountable...it's too hard. :)

70 lbs!!!! No way! That's amazing! I'm totally up for it specifically because I have to be held accountable. Let me know if you want in. I'm going to just get a group of friends together and none of us work together or see each other regularly. I think just knowing we're all doing it together would be great. There's a website where we can track progress. But we all have to be honest - which is really what the entire thing is about. Ugh!

okay...my pants are telling me that "I'm in" but my mind is telling me that I'm "too tired". Let's listen to the waistline and give it a try!

Yay! I just ate a hamburger at lunch - I clearly need help!

I'm not any better...I had some canned pears and a Twix bar (with a Diet Coke of course). I either need help or a replenished snack drawer.
