Luke was paired up with his little Kindergarten pen pal - a tradition at their school where Third Graders are matched up with Kindergarteners and it is beyond cute! He's had good training as a big brother, so he took to his role as protector pretty well. He was some sort of trooper from Star Wars (as he is every year).
The night before, we went to the Club for their Halloween party. Good heavens, I feel like we saw everyone there!
Can you see George (aka Batman) there on the left?
He really blends in.
The food was amazing!
There were so many things to do with lots of games, music, a bounce house, balloon animals, pictures, flip books, and face painting. Too much fun for a Thursday night! The kids had a great time until I told them it was time to go home. Evie went from happy to pissed in a matter of seconds.
She has such a tough life, right?
Today we are going to join our friends for some fun trick-or-treating. Chuck is dressed up as Fred Flintstone, and I'm thinking about finding a Wilma costume after the kids whined that I couldn't dress up in my usual costume - a Stay At Home Mom - again this year. I may have to surprise them . . .
Hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!
