Karaoke

I owe you guys some posts of the kids, but life is busy right now - as always. Today is my office Christmas Party. I will endeavor to not drink too much and definitely not pick up a cigar. I learned my lesson after my first year here. I'm still trying to live it down. At least I didn't pull a Bridget Jones and actually karaoke, but that's only because a karaoke machine wasn't handy.

In fact, we own a karaoke machine and used to make everyone who ever visited us participate in a round of painful karaoke. More on that later. For now, I hope you all are enjoying your rounds of Christmas parties that I'm sure have already begun or will begin this weekend!

Since you brought it up, I do remember that particular party ... thank goodness the "underlings" there aren't encouraged to stay so I left after the first 30 minutes or I'd have probably been right there with you in the conference room ..... could you see ADS in there ??????

I DID sing karaoke once at an office Winter party (since we're a state institution we can't call them Christmas or even Holiday parties)and the worst part is...I was stone cold sober when I did it. Yikes!

Somehow, sober karaoke is so much worse than drunken karaoke.

This makes sure every potential driver receives the same level of training and is assessed in a consistent manner. Heavy lifting might be required of the operator as well. Moreover, you do not have to fine tune them as they come that way.
