I made some changes to the blog. Let me know what you think. Cute right? I needed a pick me up this morning - obviously. So, I decided to embrace one of my favorite parts of being a professional mother - this blog and my friends who read it - and give the blog a little face lift. Nothing dramatic, but shopping for something new and shiny always feels good (unless you're shopping for a swimsuit).
When Grandma left Evie yesterday, Evie bawled her poor little eyes out and begged the fantastic woman not to leave. (It almost worked). After Grandma finally pried Evie off of her leg and escaped the nut house we call home, Lindsey attempted to cheer Evie up. When remedial measures failed, Lindsey resorted to a stronger tactic and taught Evie about retail therapy. Seriously, Lindsey is a genius! Love Lindsey! She took Evie to Target (my favorite store) and let her pick out a new Barbie doll. Shopping is a very effective bandage sometimes.
