Opera Ball

Working all weekend, pretty much sucks, but you know how I feel about my firm and my case - love it, love it, love it.

We went to the Opera Ball last night. I can't wait to post the pictures! I had a blast with our friends and even ran into our good friends Stacey and Aaron who looked very dapper in their evening attire! After not eating all day while I was at work, I managed to squeeze three meals into our 6 hour evening (cheese plate, dinner, and a late night breakfast at Ole' South Pancake House). We went to the Scat Lounge after the ball and listened to a fabulous singer who generously sang "I love you for sentimental reasons" which is what Chuck and I danced to at our wedding. Love that boy. It was so fun and I felt all "Doris Day" because I was wearing a classic 50's dress that I managed to pick out in 1/2 and hour at Nordstrom's on Friday afternoon. Seriously can't believe I managed to find a dress (and shoes) that I loved in that short a time frame. I'll post pictures when I get them.

Now, back to work!
